Group Song & Dance Competition at DPS Bokaro win hearts

Bokaro (Jharkhand) : The Cultural Week functions at DPS Bokaro on July 30, 2019, witnessed a symphony of melody, harmony, grace, and rhythm in the Group Song and Group Dance competitions mesmerising the guests and the students. In the senior wing, the children displayed patriotic fervour through their musical rendition whereas in the Primary Wing the children performed spectacular group dances on the theme ‘Festivals of India’.

In the Group Song, Ganga House secured the first position whereas Jamuna and Sutlej shared the second spot. The third position was bagged by Chenab house.

In Group Dance, Ganga House secured the first position while second and third positions were bagged by Chenab and Jamuna Houses respectively.

Addressing the audience in the senior wing, Chief Guest D  K  Saha, GM I/C (F&A), Bokaro Steel Limited, congratulated the students and the teachers not only for the performance. He said that DPS Bokaro is pioneer in education not only for the state of Bihar & Jharkhand but also at the national level.

Addressing the gathering at the Primary Wing, Chief Guest Manu Jha  praised the school for providing holistic education and remarked that DPS Bokaro plays an instrumental role in all-round development of every child. She appreciated the participants and teachers for their efforts to make the event a grand success.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal, DPS Bokaro, A S  Gangwar said, “Music is a panacea. It binds soul, heart and emotions.” He showered praise on all the participants for giving in their best.  He complimented the wardens and tutors for their relentless endeavour in bringing out the hidden talent of the children.
