Govt cancels notification relieving Jain for central deputation

Patna : Bihar Government on May 4, 2018, cancelled its April 27, 2018, notification relieving for central deputation former Katihar SP Siddharth Mohan Jain, a 2006 batch Bihar cadre IPS officer, for firing in the air at his farewell function.

The Government took cognisance of a related video going viral on social media. Jain was earlier relieved for central deputation following his appointment as SP, CBI, for an initial period of four years. He would join at State Police Headquarters awaiting his posting, said a Home ( Police) Department notification on May 4.
