Govt asks engineers to protect Kosi Embankment at any cost

Saharsa : Princioal Secretary, Industries Department, and Secretary Incharge, Saharsa district, Dr S Siddharth, on July 6, 2017, directed officials and engineers to take flood fighting wherever river Kosi was putting pressure on its embankment.

Reviewing the flood protection works in Saharsa district, Dr Siddharth asked the engineers to protect Kosi embankments at any cost. He asked the district authorities to give the number of Control Room to all the engineers concerned engaged in embankment protection work, BDOs, COs and SHOs to handle any emergency.
