Governor secretariat releases list of vacation for varsities, colleges for 2017

Patna :The governor secretariat, on the direction of Governor-cum-Chancellor Ram Nath Kovind, on December 26  released the vacation list for state universities and colleges for the year 2017. The varsities and colleges will remain closed on January 3,4 and 5, 2017, for the 350th Prakashotsav and birth anniversary of Guru Govind Singhji . They will also remain closed on April 17 and 18, 2017, to mark Mahatma Gandhi’s  ‘Satyagrah Centenary Year’. The summer vacation will be of 30 days duration from June 1 to June 30, 2017. The Holi vacation will be from March 12 to March 15. The universities and colleges will also remain closed on March 22 to mark Bihar Diwas. They would also remain closed on September 21 for Durga Puja Kalashsthana.
