Samastipur : Police on December 26 conducted raids at two places in Samatipur district and seized around ten thousand bottles of foreign liquor. DSP, Samastipurco, Mohammad Tanvir Ahmad said that police, on a tip off, conducted raid at village Harpur Bhindi under Tazpur pojlice station and seized 8,208 bottles foreign liquor hidden under stonechips on a truck. In another raid conducted at village Mannipur under Mathurapur police outpost, police seized 35 cartons of foreign liquor from a house, DSP Ahmad said. Police also arrested a liquor smuggler, he said.
