Governor orders probe into irregularities in Maulana Majharul Haq Arabi Persian University

Patna: Justice (retired) Sadanand Mukherjee will inquire into the alleged irregularities into the appointments, affiliation granted to different institutions and purchase made by Maulana Mazharul Haq Arabi Persian University, Patna. The governor-cum-chancellor Ram Nath Kovind had received complaints about irregularities in the university and on the basis of report he received from the university he was prima facie satisfied and authorised Justice ( retd) Mukherjee to inquire into them. The governor’s secretariat issued a notification to this effect on Monday. The probe panel will submit its report within two months.
