Patna : Bihar Governor Satya Pal Malik on December 29, 2017, underlined the importance of Mounted Police Force in maintaining law and order. The Governor, who was the Chief Guest at inaugural function of the ’36th All India Police Horse Race Competition and Mounted Police Duty Meet 2017′, here said that such competition boost the morale of Mounted Police Force.
The Governor said that over 30 competition would be held at the event which is a matter of pride. He said that the 61st All India Police Wrestling Competition was also held here in 2017. The Governor also watched some competition on the occasion. DG, Police Building Construction Corporation, Sunil Kumar, welcomed the guests.
Patna High Court Judge Ajay Kumar Tripathi, DG, Training, K S Dwevedi, DG, Bihar Military Police (BMP) Gupteshwar Pandey, and DG, State Vigilance Investigation Bureau, Ravindra Kumar were also present on the occasion.
