Patna : Bihar Governor Fagu Chauhan appreciated Patna Golf Club for doing good work to develop Golf as a sport in Bihar. The Governor hailed the establishment of Golf Academy here under the guidance of Patna Golf Club saying it is a right decision to develop Golf in the state.
Governor Chauhan was addressing the prize distribution function at 47th annual Golf Championship Competition here. He said the Golf Academy should give priority to budding Golf players coming from economically weaker sections of the society. He also stressed on making Golf more popular among the people. The Governor said that Patna Golf Club is more than hundred year old and is among the oldest Golf Clubs in the country.
