Gopalganj CS seeks help from SP to seal 4 nursing home at Kuchaikot

Gopalganj: Civil Surgeon (CS), Gopalganj, Dr Madheshwar Prasad Sharma on January dashed off a letter to SP  Raviranjan, seeking cooperation from him for sealing four nursing homes in Kuchaikot. The letter was written by Sharma after non-cooperation by Kuchaikot police with a team of Health Department that had gone there to seal the nursing homes.

Gopalganj DM Rahul Kumar had earlier directed CS to seal four nursing homes in Kuchaikot after they were found running illegally. After getting nod from DM, a team including incharge, Kuchaikot Hospital and Block Development Officer (BDO) had gone to seal the nursing homes but failed to do so as the local police did not cooperate with the team.

Even on January 92, a Health Department team returned empty handed and informed CS about the attitude of the local police. This forced the CS to write a letter to Gopalganj SP for implementation of DM’s order.
