Girl raped at Bhojpur village, her friend helped accused

Ara: A man from Buxar district outraged the modesty of a girl at village Baghuur Narainpur under Agiaw police station in Bhojpur district with the help of his cousin, a friend of the victim. The incident came to light after the police brought the survivor to  Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination late Thursday  evening, ten days after the incident. A named FIR has been lodged with Woman Police station against six persons but no arrest has so far been made in this regard.

The girl said at Ara Sadar Hospital that Suraj Prakash, son of Swami Nath Paswan of village Lakhan Dihara under Dumrao police station in Buxar district, came to Rajauli Devi, his relative, at Baghuur village in the first week of June and since then was trying to entice the victim but every time she refused even to talk to him. On June 20, her friend Reena Kumar,cousin of Suraj Prakash, came to her and took her to her residence on some pretext. As she reached there, Reena Kumar called her cousin and pushed her into his hands. Surajtook her to a room and outraged her modesty. Reena Kumari and Suraj Prakash threatened her with dire  consequences if she dared open her mouth.
