Ara : A girl of village Gundi under Krishnagarh police station in Bhojpur district lodged a named FIR with Mahila Police Station, Ara, on July 30, 2018, against a youth Guddu Mian of her village charging him with sexually exploiting her for several months with a promise to marry her but refused to marry her when she got pregnant. Guddu Mian also refused to own the child she delivered on July 28, 2018.
SHO, Mahila Police Station, Poonam Kumari, said that Guddu Mian of village Gundi under Krishnagarh police station promised a girl of the same village to marry her and outraged her modesty for quite some months and when she became pregnant, he flatly refused to marry her. On July 28, 2018, the girl gave birth to a girl child at Sadar Hospital, Ara, and once again contacted Guddu Mian but he refused to own the child saying that it was not his.
The SHO said that police had taken blood sample of the girl child and also sample of hair, nail and blood of Guddu Mian to send them to Forensic Science Laboratory, Patna, to ascertain as to who was the real father of the child.
