Sasaram: A teenage girl was killed while a youth was seriously injured when a speeding truck dashed a motorcycle from behind near Primary Health Centre, Dinara, under Dinara police station in Rohtas district on Tuesday. Police brought the body to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and also admitted the injured youth there.
Mumtaz Ansari, son of Kalamuddin Ansari of village Ansari Kund under Dinara police station was going somewhere on his bike. When he reached near Primary Health Centre, a speeding truck dashed his motorcycle from behind. As a result the youth lost control over his bike and his bike ran over a teenage girl Khushbu Kumari, daughter of Kameshwar Paswan of Dinara village. The girl succumbed to her injuries at the PHC during treatment. She was going to temple to offer prayer when the incident took place. The truck driver escaped with the truck.
