Patna : Bihar government on June 7, 2017, transferred Principal Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD), Dharmendra Singh Gangwar, and appointed him Principal Secretary, Finance Department. Gangwar, a 1988 batch IAS officer, will continue to hold additional charge of OSD at Resident Commissioner’s office, New Delhi.
Home Commissioner Amir Subhani, a 1987 batch IAS officer, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, GAD. Subhani will continue to hold additional charge of Principal Secretary, Excise & Prohibition and Registration Department besides being given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Public Grievances, GAD, and Mission Director, Bihar Administrative Reforms Mission Society.
Development Commissioner Shishir Sinha, a 1982 batch IAS officer, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Vigilance Department. Secretary, SC and ST Welfare department, Prem Singh Meena, a 2000 batch IAS officer, has been given additional charge of Minority Welfare Department.
The GAD issued a notification to this effect on June 7 itself but it will come into force from June 15, 2017.
