Muzaffarpur: Union Road Transport minister Nitin Gadkari, who on Monday inaugurated two lanes of Muzaffarpur- Barauni NH 28, a stretch of 107.56 km, as well as widening and renovation of paved solder, said politics would not come in the way of development. Gadkari said the NDA government is committed to development of Bihar. He said Bihar will get whatever it demands as far the development of the state goes. Bihar Deputy CM Tejaswi Yadav said the state government wants to develop the state in tandem with the centre.
Gadkari also laid foundation of two important road projects : Chhapra- Siwan-Gopalganj NH 85 and Chhapra- Rewaghat-Muzaffarpur NH 102, on Monday. The three road projects would cost Rs 1,727 crore. Union minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Muzaffapur MP Ajay Nishad and senior BJP leader and former deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi were also present on the occasion.
