Fritz & Minaur to clash in ATP Atlanta Open final

Patna : World No 32 Taylor Fritz, 21, USA, and World No 34 Alex de Minaur, 20, Australia, will clash in the men’s singles final of Atlanta Open,  an ATP 250 points tournament, at Atlanta, USA, on July 29, 2019, at 2.30 am.

Second seed Fritz beat World No 54 Cameron Norrie, 24, UK, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 in the semi-finals. The American fired 15 Aces in the match to 4 by Norrie. Fritz won 3 break points to 1 by Norrie. The American won 5 games in a row in the match to 2 by Norrie.

Third seed Minaur beat World No 57 Reilly Opelka, 21, USA, in a three-set thriller 7-6, 6-7, 6-3 in the semi-finals. Opelka though hammered 28 Aces in the match to just 5 by the Australian. Minaur committed 4 double faults to 5 by the American. Both the players won 3 break points each in the match. Opelka won 78 service points to 72 by Minaur.
