Bagaha: Four shops located at Naraipur station chowk under Bagaha police station in West Chamaparn district were gutted on Saturday night in a devastating fire which originated from a hotel belonging to Bipin Kumar Agarwal. Shops of Agarwal, Umesh, Ramnath and Prabhat Kumar were gutted and properties worth several lakh were destroyed. Soon after getting information, Bagaha SDM Dharmendar Kumar along with Pathakauli police and a fire brigade reached the spot and extinguished the devastating fire. Sources revealed that workers of the hotel owner were boiling potatos during which fire sparked and within no time four shops were reduced to ashes, sources said.
