Four members of Baarat party die in Ghoswari accident

Patna : Four members of a Baarat party en route village Dhanakadov under Ghoswari police station in Patna district from Sheikhpura district died when the Sawari vehicle carrying them fell into a roadside ditch full of hyacinth at village Paijuna while avoiding a cart at 9.45 pm on February 27, 2017.The Mahindra vehicle was carrying 17 persons.

Ghoshwari police station SHO Mukesh Sharma said police reached the spot soon after the accident and took out the bodies from the vehicle with the help of the locals. He said a crane was to used on February 28 to take the vehicle out from the ditch. Bodies were sent for post-mortem to Barh sub-divisional hospital. The SHO said that the driver of the vehicle escaped after the accident.
