Four injured in firing at marriage venue at Muzaffarpur village

Muzaffarpur : Four persons including three children received gun shot injuries when three armed youth reached a marriage venue at village Sakri Man under Hathha police outpost in Muzaffarpur district on June 18, 2017, late night and fired indiscriminately.

The incident took place at the house of Amresh Sahni. The villagers caught one of three youth and handed him over to police. All the four injured were admitted to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH), Muzaffarpur. The firing took place before arrival of the Baraat.

Sources said that while escaping the two armed youth also took away two children with them who were later recovered by the villagers from Chamaria Chowk. The incident has triggered panic among the people. Police are investigating into the incident.
