Patna : Four 2004 batch IAS officers, who are currently on central deputation, were on February 26, 2020, granted Proforma Promotion to Secretary rank. The four IAS officers are : Palka Sahni, R Laxmanan, Kundan Kumar, and Abhay Kumar Singh. The General Administration Department issued a notification to thius effect on February 26 itself.
Palka Sahni, Kundan Kumar, and Abhay Kumar Singh, have, however, been granted promotion on the condition that they would complete mid-service training next session on getting place.
