Former Revenu employee arrested for fraud in Bhojpur

Ara : Bhojpur police arrested a retired Revenue employee and sent him to jail on July 24, 2018, in connection with transfer of land through forgery during 2002-03 when he was posted at Shahpur Circle Office.

SHO, Shahpur police station, Shambhu Bhagat, said that the then Revenue employee Md Latif was posted at the Shahpur Circle Office during 2002-2003 and had transferred a piece of land of Shahpur mauza in the name of Jhaua –Belvania mauza under Shahpur block using fraud means. The occupant of the land had filed a complaint case in Ara Civil Court. The SHO said that during investigation, the complaint was found correct and so police arrested Md Latif from his house at Ara and sent him to jail.
