Sitamarhi: A former Pramukh of Pakri Dayal block in East Champaran district in North Bihar Devender Prasad Singh, 52, was shot dead by unidentified bike borne goons near Phulbaria Ghat bridge under Bairgania police station in Sitamarhi district on March 19, 2018. He was going to Gaur (Rautahat) in Nepal in connection with a protracted land dispute there when he was shot dead.
Devendra Prasad Singh, a former Pramukh, was riding a bike accompanied by a pillion rider. The pillion rider has been missing. Singh was a resident of village Tharwatia in East Champaran district. According to SHO, Bairgania police station, Sujit Kumar, police have seized the deceased’s bike. Investigation is underway to nab the criminals soon, he said.
