Former Muzaffarpur Mayor Sameer Kumar was killed for land : SSS

Muzaffarpur : SSP, Muzaffarpur, Manoj Kumar, on December 25, 2018, said that former Muzaffarpur Mayor Sameer Kumar was killed for a plot at fish market, Kalyani Chowk, Muzaffarpur. Police arrested the main accused Govind near Patna airport recently.

Two other key accused Sujit Kumar and Mrityunjay Kumar alias Pintoo are yet to be arrested though. Sameer Kumar was shot dead on September 23, 2018, evening, at Banaras Bank chowk, Muzaffarpur. The assailants had used AK47 to kill the former Muzaffarpur Mayor Sameer Kumar. Police identified the killers through CCTV footage. Police have so far arrested four persons in connection with this murder case.
