Former Mukhia shot at thrice, seriously injured in Sitamarhi

Sitamarhi:  Two persons including former Mukhia of Purandaha-Rajwara Panchayat Anil Thakur were shot at and injured in separate incidents in Sitamarhi district on September 1, 2018.

Thakur, former Mukhia of Purandaha-Rajwara Panchayat, was shot at three times by unidentified criminals when he was on morning walk on a villagefield  road. The villagers chased the criminals but they fled away. Thakur was  admitted to a private nursing home at Sitamarhi.
In yet another incident at village Matiyar under Sahiyara police station, one Rakesh Das was shot at twice by two persons, who ran away towards other village and could not be caught. Das was admitted to Sadar hospital, Sitamarhi.
