Ara : Bhojpur police arrested a former Headmaster of a High School, Agiaw Bazaar under Agiaw Bazaar police station, on December 23 evening from village Malezi under Sikandarpur police station in Uttar Pradesh in connection with embezzlement of government fund. The Headmaster in said to be a resident of Malezi village.

SHO, Agiaw Bazaar police station, Dinanath Singh said that the then District Programme Officer (DPO) Awadhesh  Kumar Singh had filed an FIR against Lal Bahadur Ram, former Headmaster, High School, Agiaw Bazaar, in connection with withdrawal and embezzlement of government fund by making forge signature on the register of the school.

The SHO said that Lal Bahadur Ram was suspended earlier when he was Headmaster of the school for largescale irregularities in school and disappearance from the school without information. But he did not hand over the charge to the Headmaster-in-charge and  retired during suspension period. Even then he did not hand over the charge. At this, the DPO, Bhojpur, wrote to the SDO, Piro, on January 5, 2016 to give charge to the new Headmaster-in-charge and appointed the CO, Piro, as magistrate for the purpose.
