Giridih : Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (P) chief and former Jharkhand chief minister Babul Lal Marandi launched his indefinite dharna at Giridih Jhanda ground on Sunday to press his demands including proper distribution of ration cards, checking rampant black marketing of subsidised foodgrains and payments for public distribution system dealers in the state, Marandi is sitting on dharna with his supporters. He reiterated that the BJP governments in the state as well as at the centre have completely failed to meet the expectations of the masses.
“The BJP can neither fulfil the expectations of the commoners in the state and at the centre. While the saffron party is capitalist-centric at the centre, the Raghubar Das government has shown its anti – Jharkhand policy through its recently passed domicile policy in the state. Hence, expecting justice or required developments in Jharkhand is quite unlikely,” the JVM chief said before seating on an indefinite dharna.
Terming non – completion of ration cards, deteriorating law and order, the new domicile policy of the Jharkhand government, improper implementation of Food and Security Act as the failure of the BJP government in the state, Marandi said that the Ragubar Das has no moral right to be on the seat of CM in Jharkhand.
