Patna : A Patna court on April 4, 2017, refused bail to Sudhir Kumar, former Chairman of Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) and a 1987 batch IAS officer, who was arrested in connection with leakage of question papers of commission’s inter-level clerical grade exam held in January 2017.
Sudhir Kumar was arrested by the SIT on February 24, 2017. The state government later cancelled the exam. Sudhir Kumar was suspended after his arrest. The vigilance court also refused bail to Sudhir Kumar’s brother Mukesh Kumar and sister-in-law Manju Kumari in the same case.
