Forests team arrests timber smuggler in Bagaha

Bagaha : A Chiutaha Forests Range team headed by Forester Vijay Prasad, on a tip off, on October 30, 2018, early morning, conducted raids in Kosil Sector 52 in Bagaha police district and arrested a timber smuggler Nathuni Oraon while carrying 4 light beams of Sal tree used in buildings on a cycle.

Seven other timber smugglers, who too were carrying light Sal beams from the forest fled away into the deep forests seeing the Forests team leaving behind seven cycles and 34 pieces of light Sal beams. Chiutaha Forests Range Officer Mahesh Prasad said that the arrested smuggler was being sent to Bagaha Sub- Jail.
