Foreigh liquor worth Rs 60 lakh seized in Muzaffarpur, 3 held

Muzaffarpur : Excise department sleuths seized foreign liquor worth over Rs 60 lakh from a truck bearing Haryana number in a raid conducted at village Shukul Basra under Jaitpur police outpost in Muzaffarpur district on April 19, 2017.

The  Excise department sleuths also arrested three persons including the truck driver and his assistant besides seizing the truck, according to Excise Superintendent, Muzaffarpur, Deenbandhu.  He said that the department was probing into the role of Bhola Rai, Jitendra Rai and Mukesh Rai of Motipur in the district in the smuggling of liquor from Haryana.
