Floral Tributes paid to Maharaj Agrasen at Ara

Ara : Floral tributes were paid to Maharaj Agrasen, forefather of the Agra Vansh, at Maina Sundar Dharmashala on October 10, 2018. Men, women and children of Jain, Agrawal and Marwari communities assembled at the Maina Sundar Dharmshala and paid tribute and offered prayer to their ancestor.

Dhirendra Jain, president, Agrasen Samiti, Ara branch, said that Maharaja Agrasen dates back to Mahabharat era.  He said every year people of these communities worship and offered prayer to their ancestor and Prasad is distributed among the people adding that the poor and needy persons are fed and given clothes and other things  to mark the occasion.
