Patna : Three union ministers: Ram Vilas Paswan, Ravi Shankar Prasad and Upendra Kushwaha, were stranded at Delhi airport on Thursday evening as the private airliner carrying them to Patna made an emergency landing back at the same airport. The plane did not have enough aviation fuel, according to sources at airport. The plane had  taken off at 5.25 pm for Patna but shortage of fuel was noticed immediately forcing plane’s emergency landing.
The three union ministers were coming to Patna to attend the engagement ceremony of daughter of another union minister and MP from Pataliputra Ram Kripal Yadav at a premier hotel near Gandhi Maidan in the evening. Ramkripal’s daughter is getting engaged to son of a minister in Uttar Pradesh. The flight has been rescheduled and is expected to land late in the evening.
