Saharsa : Five persons were injured when a Scorpio decorated for a marriage rammed them in the market at Bariyahi chowk under Bangaon police station in Saharsa district on March 5, 2017, evening. All the injured were admitted to Saharsa Sadar hospital where condition of two of them is stated to be serious. Injured Pritam Kumar and Nishu Kumar said that they were standing at a betel shop when the speeding Scorpio rammed it and a fruit shop injuring five persons. The other three injured were identified as Mohad Ishaq, Barqat Ali and Mohammad Tipu. The people present in the market caught the driver after the incident. Police are inquiring into the matter.
