Bagaha : A named FIR has been lodged against 9 persons in connection with the murder of Congress leader Mohammad Fakhruddin Khan, a resident of Sohasa Chhaugharia under Ramnagar police station in Bagaha police district. Mohammed Fakhruddin Khan was gunned down by armed assailants in broad daylight on July 19, 2019, at a pond near the village.
SDPO, Ramnagar, Arjun Lal said on July 20 that the deceased’s wife and Mukhia of Sohasa panchayat Nazneen Khanam has lodged an named FIR with Ramnagar police station against 9 persons accusing them of killing her husband. Police have taken four persons under custody and interrogating them. The SDPO said that Mohammad Fakhruddin Khan’ murder appears to be related to a land dispute.
