FIR lodged against 6 accused in Narahi gang rape in Bhojpur

Ara : A named FIR was lodged with Woman police station, Ara, on May 24, 2018, against six persons in connection with gangrape of a minor girl at village Narahi in Bhojpur district recently and making its video viral on social media.

SHO, Woman police station, said that a minor girl of village Narahi under Chandi police station had gone to field last week to attend call of nature when someone caught her from behind and took her a secluded place where six persons gangraped her, videographed the incident and also threatened her with dire consequences. The girl and her family members  did not disclose the matter owing to social stigma.

In meantime, the miscreants made the video viral on social media. After the matter became public, the father of the girl lodged a named FIR against six persons including Gaurav Prasad, Neeraj Sharma, Chhotu Paswan. Police brought the girl over to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination on May 24.
