FIR lodged against 5 contract teachers in Bhojpur for getting job on fake certificates

Ara : Inspector, Vigilance, Ishwar Prasad, on November 8, 2019, instituted a named FIR with Barhara police station in Bhojpur District against five contract teachers for allegedly getting job on fake certificates.

The FIR was lodged against Vimala Devi, wife of Upendra Kumar Pandit, Upgraded Middle School, Balua: Malati Devi, wife of Ashok Kumar, Upgraded Middle School, Laxmipur: Punam Devi, wife of Vijendra Sah, Primary School, Achraj Lal Ke Tola: Rita Kumari, wife of Bhikhari Ram, Kanya Middle School, Balua: and Akshay Kumar Yadav, son of Lakhichand Yadav, Primary School, Kachahari Ke Tola.

Vigilance Inspector  Ishwar Prasad said that on the direction of Patna High Court, Vigilance Department, investigated appointments of contract teachers who allegedly got job on fake certificates. During investigation, the Vigilance Department found appointments of five contract teachers posted at different schools in different panchayat under Barhara block in Bhojpur district as fake. He said that they were appointed teachers by producing fake marks-sheets, date of birth, and certificates of matriculation.
