Female Kakshapal lodges FIR against Dy. Suptd, Sub-Jail, Udakishunganj

Patna : IG, Prisons & Correctional Services, Bihar, on March 11, 2019, sent Mrityunjay Kumar, Assistant Superintendent, Purnia Central Jail, on deputation to Sub-Jail, Udakishunganj, Madhepura, as Assistant Superintendent cum Incharge Deputy Superintendent, with immediate effect.

This follows an FIR lodged by a female Kakshapal (Warder) Savitri Sao against Deputy Superintendent, Sub-Jail, Udakishunganj, Bhola Prasad Sharma, on March 11, 2019, charging him with assaulting her in a drunken state. DM, Madhepura, is taking necessary action in this connection, according to IG (Prisons). He has directed Superintendent, Purnia Central Jail, to relieve direct Mrityunjay Kumar and direct him to join at Sub-Jail, Udakishunganj.
