Patna : World No 1 in ATP rankings Roger Federer, 36, Switzerland, entered the final of Halle Open tennis, Germany, defeating Denis Kudla, 25, USA, 7-6, 7-5 in the semi-finals on June 23, 2018. Federer fired 12 Aces in the match while Kudla fired 8 Aces. Both the players committed three double faults each.
Federer will play World No 34 Borna Coric, 21, Croatia, in the final on June 24, 2018. Coric entered the final after his opponent in the semi-finals Roberto Bautista Agut, 30, Spain, the World No 16, retired due to injury while leading 3-2 in the first set.
