Patna : Eight time champion and 2nd seed Roger Federer, Switzerland, and World No 7 Kei Nishikori, Japan, reached the 4th round of Wimbledon Championships, London, on July 6, 2019.

Federer beat 27th seed Lucas Pouille, France in straight sets 7-5, 6-2, 7-6 in the 3rd round at All England Club. Federer won 4 break points in the match to 1 by Pouille. Federer,winner of 20 Grand Slam singles title, won 6 games in a row in the match to 2 by the French. Both the players served 6 Aces each in the match.

Nishikori, the 8th seed, beat Steve Johnson, USA, 6-4, 6-3, 6-2 to enter the 4th round of the Wimbledon Championships. Nishikori won 6 break points to 1 by Johnson. But, the American served 6 Aces in the match to 2 by Nishikori. Nishikori won 5 games in a row to 3 by the American.

World No 65 Sam Querrey, 31, USA, beat World No 64 John Millman, 30, Australia, 7-6, 7-6, 6-3 to reach the 4th round of the tournament. Querrey fired 27 Aces in the match to 4 by Millamn. Querrey won 3 break points to 1 by Millman.
