Patna : Roger Federer, 36, Switzerland, remains Number 1 in the ATP rankings relased on March 19, 2018, though with reduced points after his defeat in the final of Indian Wells ATP Masters 1000 tournament at California, USA, on March 18, 2018. Federer, the defending champion at Indian Wells, dropped 1,000 points following his defeat in the final. Federer now has 9,660 points.

Rafael Nadal, 31, Spain, who had played at Indian Wells in 2017 but did not play in 2018 due to injury, also remains Number 2 with 9,370 points. Nadal has dropped 600 points. Marin Cilic, 29, Croatia, is Number 3 with 4,905 points dropping 10 points while Grigor Dimitroc, 26, Bulgaria, is Number 4 with 4,600 points dropping 10 points. Alexander Zverev, 20, Germany, is Number 5 with 4,505 points dropping 180 points.

Juan Martin del Porto, 29, Argentina, has jumped two positions to be ranked 6th in the ATP rankings after his victory over Federer in the final of Indian Wells Masters though he too has dropped 45 points. Dominic Thief, 24, Austria, is ranked 7th while Kevin Anderson, 31, South Africa, is ranked 8th in the latest ATP rankings.

Both David Goffin, 27, Belgium, and Lucas Pouille, 24, France, have jumped two places each and are ranked 9th and 10th respectively in the ATP rankings. Jack Sock, 25, USA, is 11th while former World Number 1 Novak Djokovic, 30, Serbia, is 12th in the ATP rankings. Tomas Berdych, 32, Czech Republic, is 13th in the rankings while Sam Querry, 30, USA, has jumped 7 places to be ranked 14th in the ATP rankings. Roberto Bautista Agut, 29, Spain, is ranked 15th climbing one place.

Winner of three Grand Slam titles Stan Wawrinka, 32, Switzerland, has slipped 10 positions to be ranked 21st in the latest rankings.  Hyeon Chung, 21, South Korea, has jumped three places and ranked 23rd while Milos Raunic, 27, Canada, has jumped 13 places and is ranked 25th. Former World Number 1 Andy Murray, 30, UK, is ranked 29th. Borna Coric, 21, Croatia, who had reached semi-finals of Indian Wells Masters, has jumped 13 places to be ranked 36th. Philipp Kohlschreiber, 34, Germany, has jumped 6 places to be ranked 31st.

Yuki Bhambri, 25, India, who had reached third round of Indian Wells Masters, has jumped three places and is ranked 107 with 545 points while Ramkumar Ramnatha, 23, India, has slipped one position and is ranked 136th with 413 points. Sumit Nagal, 208, India, has jumped 5 positions and ranked 218 with 253 points.

But, Prajnesh Gunneswaran, 28, India, has slipped 11 positions to be ranked 246th in the ATP rankings with 203 points. N Sriram Balaji, 28, India, has slipped 48 places and is ranked 507 with 66 points. N Vijay Sunder Prashanth, 31, India, has jumped 37 places to be ranked 519th with 63 points. But, Sasi Kumar Mukund, 21, India, has slipped 71 places to be ranked 520 in the ATP rankings with 63 points.
