Chancellor appoints VCs, Pro VCs of three new universities

Patna : Bihar Governor cum Chancellor Satya Pal Malik on March 19, 2019, appointed Vice-chancellor (VC) and Pro-Vice-chancellor (Pro VC) of Patliputra, Munger, and Purnia, universities, on the basis of recommendations of the Search Committee constituted for the purpose and effective consultation with the state government. Patliputra, Munger, and Munger, are new universities established in the state.

Prof Gulab Chand Ram Jaiswal has been appointed VC of Patliputra University, Patna,  while Prof Ranjit Kumar Verma has been appointed VC of Munger University, Munger. Prof Rajesh Singh has been appointed VC of Purnia University, Purnia.

Prof Girish Kumar Chaudhary has been appointed Pro-VC of Patliputra University while Prof Kusum Kumari has been made ProVC of Munger University. Prof Prabhat Kumar Singh has been appointed Pro VC of Purnia University.

All these appointments have been made for a period of three years from the date of the new VCs and ProVCs assuming charge, according to a Raj Bhavan release.
