Sasaram : Sleuths of the Excise Department and police, on a tip off, jointly conducted raids at village Parmeshwarpura under Dawath police station in Rohtas district, and arrested a Homeguards personnel Ramakant Singh and his father Bharat Singh and seized 568 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from their house on on October 9, 2017.
Assistant Excise Commissioner, Kishore Kumar, said that the seized IMFL was manufactured in Haryana and added that the arrested liquor mafias had revealed some important clues and police will now act on them. He said that police will arrest some white collar liquor smugglers very soon. He further said that the arrested father- son due supplied liquor door to door. He added that a named FIR was lodged with under Dawath police station against both the persons under the New Excise Act and they were sent to jail.
