Sasaram : Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a farmer Rajeshwar Pandey at village Ayarkota under Dehri-on-Sone sub-division in Rohtas district on March 13. Police recovered the body on March 14 and brought it to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. SDPO Javed Ansari said that Rajeshwar Pandey of village Mor under Sasaram Muffassil police station had gone somewhere on March 13, 2017, on his motorcycle. When he did not return till late night, his family members searched for him everywhere. Finally, they found his body thrown on the bank of Ayarkota Canal on March 14 and informed police. The SDPO said that some miscreants had shot at his neck and killed him. Land dispute is said to be the reason behind the murder.
