Motihari : A farmer Sheodhari Ram, 52, was killed by some fellow villagers on February 21, 2020, after he resisted their bid to demolish his thatched house located in Harijan toli  of village Kamal Pipara under Paharpur police station in East Champran District in North Bihar.

Arun Ram, son of  slain Sheodhari Ram, on February 22, 2020, lodged an FIR with in Paharpur police station against  16 co- villagers  including  Sakaldhari Ram and Duggi Ram, for attacking and killing his father on February 21 in  Harijan toli of village Kamal Pipara in a land dispute.

SHO, Pahadpur police station, Anuj Kumar Singh, said  that the aforesaid accused were trying to demolish the thatched  house of Sheodhari Ram on February 21. When Sheodhari Ram resisted  them he was beaten to death, he added. Police are conducting raids to arrest the accused but they are at large.
