New Delhi : The Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storom “Fani” weakened into a Very Severe Cyclonic Storm and lay centered near LAT 20.30N and LONG. 86.00E over Coastal Odisha, about 18 km to East-Northeast of Bhubaneshwar and 20 km to the Southeast of Cuttack at 12.30 Hours on May 3, 2019.
The wind speed of the cyclone was 155-165 kmph gusting to 180 kmph. Bhubaneshwar Airport reported maximum sustained wind speed of 92 kmph gusting to 130 kmph at 11.30 am on May 3, 2019.
