5 PCs of Bihar to go to Polls in Phase V of General Elections 2019

Patna : Five parliamentary constituencies (PCs) of Bihar will go to polls in Phase V of General Elections 2019 on May 6, 2019. The five PCs going to polls on May 6, 2019, are : Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Saran, and Hajipur. Altogether 82 candidates including 6 women are in fray for these 5 Lok Sabha seats.

As per the data available, there are total 8766722 voters (8749847 General and 16875 Service voters) in these 5 PCs of which 4678401 are males, 4088096 females and 225 third gender voters. They will exerciser their franchise at 8,899 polling stations  set up for phase five elections in the state.

Twenty-two candidates are in the ring for the Muzaffarpur seat while 20 candidates are in fray for Sitamarhi seat. Seventeen candidates are fray for Madhubani seat, 12 candidates for Saran seat, and 11 candidates for Hajipur seat, according to a PIB release.
