Muzaffarpur : Muzaffarpur DM Dharmendra Singh has ordered for stern legal action against two serving and a retired official after the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) certificates submitted by 335 teachers were found fake during verfication. DM Singh has sought to know from the Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) as to why FIRs were not lodged against the three officials.

One of these three officers Satyanarain Kanth, the then District Education Officer (DEO), Muzaffarpur, has since retired, while another officer Ziaul Hoda Khan is District Programme Officer (DPO), Sitamarhi, and third officer Kameshwar Kamti is now DEO in another district. The Muzaffarpur district administration has also recommended for action against the three officials to the state government.
