Buxar : Prohibition & Excise Department, Buxar, sleuths, on a tip off, conducted raid near Salt Gola under Buxar town police station (PS) on February 20, 2021, and arrested a liquor smuggler along with 33 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL).
The arrested liquor smuggler was identified as Gopal Jee Verma of Salt Gola, Buxar. A named FIR was lodged with Buxar PS in this connection and police sent Gopal Jee Verma to jail after interrogation.
Excise Inspector Haidar Ali said that he got information that Gopal Ji Verma of Salt Gola dealt in IMFL. Police immediately conducted raid and seized 33 bottles of IMFL and also arrested Gopal Ji Verma.
