Patna : England were skittled out for just 81 runs in 30.4 overs in their second innings in second session of play on Day 2 in 3rd test against India at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, as Axar Patel, who had taken 6/38 in England’s first innings, took 5/32 in 15 overs while fellow spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who had taken 3/26 in first innings, took 4/48 in 15 overs. Washington Sundar took 1 wicket. England had scored 112 in their first innings while India scored 145 runs.
India need to score 49 runs on this turning track to win this match. They were 11/0 in 2 overs at dinner break with Rohit Sharma batting on 6 and Shubman Gill unbeaten on 1.
