England beat SA by 191 runs in 4th test, win series 3-1

Patna : England defeated South Africa (SA) by 191 runs in the 4th test at The Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg, South Africa, on Day 4 to win the four-match test series 3-1 on January 27, 2020. Chasing a target of 466 runs, SA were all out for 274 runs in 77.1 over in their second innings with Rassie van der Dussen scoring 98 in 138 balls hitting 15 fours and 2 sixes while Quinton de Kock scored 39 in 42 balls hitting 6 fours and a six.

England fast bowler Mark Wood, who had taken 5/46 in SA’s first innings, took 4/54 in second innings. England were all out for 400 in their first innings and 248 runs in their second innings. SC had scored 183 runs in their first innings. Mark Wood was declared Player of the Match while England all-rounder Ben Stokes was declared Player of the Series.
