Patna : England were all out for 258 in their first innings in the 2nd Ashes Test against Australia at Lord’s, London, in the third session of the play on Day 2 on August 15, 2019, night, with opener Rory Burns scoring 53, Jonny Bairstow (wk) 52, and all-rounder Chris Woakes 32. The first day’s was called off due to rain on August 14, 2019.

Captain Joe Root fell to fast bowler Josh Hazlewood for 14. Joe Denly also fell to Hazlewood for 30 while Jos Buttler fell to fast bowler Peter Siddle for 12. All-rounder Ben Stokes fell to spinner nathon Lyon for 13. Bairstow and Woakes added 72 runs for the 7th wicket.

For Australia, Pat Cummins took 3/61 while Josh Hazlewood took 3/58.Spinner Nathan Lyon took 3/68 while Peter Siddle took 1/48.
