Engineering student arrested for vehicle theft

Ara: Bhojpur police on Sunday evening arrested two vehicle lifters including an engineering student and recovered a looted motorcycle, two bunches of keys, a half burnt lady bag and some other materials used by women. Later, police forwarded them to jail after interrogation.

Bhojpur SP Kshatranil Singh said that some vehicle lifters were active at Ara and so he formed a police team headed by  SHO Nawada police station Sanjay Shankar to arrest vehicle lifters. Police team, on confidential information, raided Friends’ Colony under Nawada police station and arrested Harshvardhan, son of Brij Bihar Singh of village Dulhinganj  under Jagdishpur police station, and recovered a motorcycle from his possession. Harshvardhan is a student of  Priyadarshini Engineering  College at Nagpur and lived in a rented house of Mangal Ji at Friends Colony. On his revelation, police also arrested Pawan Kumar Dubey son of Brijraj Dubey of village Sarangdhar under Ara Muffassil police station. The police also recovered several looted articles from different places.

The SP said that the miscreants after snatching bags and taking out cash and other valuables from the bags and burnt them at an agriculture Farm House.
